Planet Earth is a complex and dynamic system we yet have to fully understand. Planet Earth can be compared to the human body : different parts needs to fully interact together, and this, in multiple complex ways. One disequilibrium and everything can fall apart. Our planet not only have many components (oceans, forests, atmosphere, etc), but also interact with other masses and objects in the solar system, such as the moon and the sun, and at a lesser extent, other planets. In order to keep our planet healthy, it is important to educate our youth about how fragile Planet Earth is, despite its size.

Planet Earth NASA
The NASA has developed a Earth Science program which purpose is to understand systems of Planet Earth, as well as its response to natural or changes induced by us (humans), in order to improve our ways of determining climate and weather changes and most importantly, natural hazards.
